Analyze site summary details

With the Study Analytics dashboard, you can view different charts to get an instant insight into the current state of the EDC processes and data elements, such as sites, subjects' phases, opened/answered queries, and so on. In the Site Summary pie chart, you instantly get information about the total number of sites, sites with subjects enrolled, and the number of sites without any enrolled subjects.

Furthermore, you can also view elaborative details about the sites to get information such as how many subjects have completed a clinical trial on a site, the number of registered subjects on a site, and so on.

To analyze the site summary details
  1. In the EDC application header, select the DASHBOARD tab.

  2. On the page that opens, select the Study Analytics tab.

  3. From the Site Summary pie chart, select Go Details info_icon.png.

  4. On the page that opens, in the Site Summary table, analyze the site details as explained in the following table.

    Element

    Details

    Site Code

    Represents the site code at which the subjects are enrolled.

    Phase

    Represents the current phase of the subjects enrolled on a site.

    Based on the current state of a subject in the system, a subject can have any of the following phases as configured and set up in Study Designer: Completed, Randomized, Registered, Screen Failure, and Discontinued.

    Also, after listing the subject's phases, this column displays the Total title that is used for displaying the complete count of the subjects enrolled on the site.

    Count

    Represents the total count of subjects against their current respective phase.

    Ratio

    Represents the subject ratio that is based on the total number of subjects enrolled on a site and the number of subjects in a particular phase.

    The ratio is calculated using the following formula:

    number of subjects in a particular phase / total number of subjects enrolled on a site * 100

Once you have analyzed the site details, from the workspace toolbar, select switch_icon.png to go back to the Study Analytics page.
