User management

In the ADMIN application, the USER tab lists users added to the system for a certain sponsor. The User management table provides all the main details on the existing user accounts as explained in the following table.

Element

Details

First Name

Represents the first name of the user.

Last Name

Represents the last name of the user.

Login Name

Represents the name with which the user logs in to the eClinical system.

Phone

Represents the contact phone number of the user.

Email

Represents the contact email address of the user.

Cross User

Represents whether the user is a crossover user or not. A crossover user is a user whose user management details can be reused or linked to other sponsors.

Status

Represents whether the user is active or inactive.

Any person, company, institution, group, or organization that is a client of EDETEK and a user of the eClinical system.

In the eClinical system, the Sponsor role is assigned to the user who oversees or pays for a clinical trial and collects and analyzes the data. Before the study goes live, the Sponsor users work closely with the data managers, configuring CRFs and other aspects to make sure everything meets their requirements before giving the green light for the study to go live. In the course of a trial, the Sponsor users make requests for amendments in the system according to a new protocol version, changes in business requirements, or other needs.
