Edit depot shipping address
A depot is a warehouse to which the drug manufacturer supplies drugs (items) to further distribute them between sites. The depots are created and configured via the CTMS application, whereas in IWRS, you can view the depot information, including the shipping address of any depot.
Unlike other depot information, the shipping address can be viewed on a separate page in IWRS and updated if needed. The updates may be introduced to accommodate new logistical requirements or ensure alignment with new operational strategies. This capability for modification in IWRS ensures that shipping information is always current and corresponds to depot needs, without requiring edits to CTMS configurations.
Important
Any updates introduced to the depot shipping address in IWRS affect the delivery procedures because the shipping address is utilized for coordinating shipments that are sent to the depot from other depots or sites. However, updating the shipping address in IWRS does not affect the depot details in CTMS.
-
In the IWRS application header, select the DEPOT tab.
-
On the Depot List page that opens, in the table, go to the depot for which you need to view the details and select it.

Important
None of the fields are mandatory because the initial shipping address information is populated from CTMS. However, in the environments of specific EDETEK clients who request it, certain fields can be configured manually.
For the depots integrated with the vendor's external system, field validation—input length, restricted characters, and so on—occurs according to the external system's requirements. This is needed to support inerrable data flow between IWRS and the vendor's system.
