Task alerts
In eTMF, a task alert is a notification feature designed to keep users and stakeholders informed about important actions or deadlines related to the operations on files and folders in TMF. Task alerts ensure that all necessary activities are completed on time, helping to maintain the smooth operation of clinical trials.
For instance, you are responsible for a specific file approval. Thus, as soon as the file reaches the respective stage of its workflow, the system assigns you the task, and you receive an email alert about it. Then you need to go and audit (approve or reject) the file to complete the assignment.
