Edit pricing template
A pricing template is a reusable instance that outlines the services and occurrences entitled to financial compensation, billing methods, and other details. Preconfiguring pricing templates simplifies contract design since you do not have to set up pricing details from scratch for every vendor.
In the course of the clinical trials, you can add pricing templates to cover various financial scenarios. At any point, you can edit the template to better suit your evolving business needs.
However, you cannot edit pricing templates used in contracts. The scenario of introducing changes to the pricing template that already belongs to the contract is as follows:

Edit the pricing template version according to your needs.

Edit the contract to update the used pricing template version.
Important
You can also update the pricing template via file import.

Access the study management page in one of the following ways:

In the CTMS application header, select the DASHBOARD tab and then select the study dashboard of your interest.

In the CTMS application header, select the STUDY MANAGEMENT tab. Then from the Study Data List table, select the study name of your interest.

On the page that opens, in the left pane, select Financial Management > Pricing Template.

In Pricing Template List that appears, locate the template that you want to update. Then select the template name or from the Action(s) column, select Edit
.

On the page that opens, update the following:

Under the Basic Information tab, amend the general settings of the template as explained in the table of the Add pricing template section.

For the template with the Fixed Amount billing method, update the fixed fees as explained in the table of the Configure fixed payment details for pricing template section.

For the template with the By Subject Visit billing method, update the subject visit details and payments as explained in the table of the Configure subject visit details for pricing template section.

For the template with the By Lab billing method, update the laboratory fees as explained in the table of the Configure lab details for pricing template section.

For the template with the By Quantity billing method, update the services to be paid as explained in the table of the Configure services by quantity for pricing template section.

For the template with the By CRF billing method, update the CRFs to be paid as explained in the table of the Configure CRF details for pricing template section.

For the template with the By Procedure billing method, update the procedures to be paid as explained in the table of the Configure procedures for pricing template section.
Important
You can also update the pricing template via file import.

Select
to implement the changes.
Once the changes are saved, your template becomes updated and can be used in the contracts.
