Pricing templates

A pricing template is a reusable instance that outlines the services and occurrences entitled to financial compensation, billing methods, and other details. Preconfiguring pricing templates simplifies contract design since you do not have to set up pricing details from scratch for every vendor.

In CTMS, all the available templates are listed under Financial Management > Pricing Template with their details as explained in the following table.

Column

Details

Template ID

Represents a unique identifier of the pricing template assigned to it by the system.

Template Name

Represents the name of the pricing template.

Version

Represents the currently effective version of the pricing template. Versioning is intended to keep track of pricing template amendments and distinguish which version is used by a certain contract.

Description

Represents auxiliary details for the pricing template.

Currency

Represents the currency in which all the payments are to be made according to this template.

# of CTA in Use

Represents the count of contracts that use the current version of the pricing template. Select the number to open the CTA in Use dialog and see the contract details.

Last Updated

Represents the date, time, and time zone indicator of when the latest changes were made to the pricing template.

Updated by

Represents the name of the system user who introduced the latest changes to the pricing template.

Status

Represents the current activation status of the pricing template:

  • Active: the pricing template is available to be used in contracts.

  • Inactive: the pricing template is not available to be used in contracts and is only visible from Pricing Template List.
