Execute integration configuration manually

In eTMF, you can configure an integration with a particular external server preconfigured for your study in the ADMIN app, thus, enabling the system to pull external files automatically on a regular schedule and land them in your desired directory of file management or essential documents. Such automation simplifies cooperation with vendors and reduces the risk of human error compared to manual file extraction and upload.

All the integrations in the Active status are executed on their preconfigured schedule serving the automation purpose. However, there is also the manual execution option that becomes helpful when you need to extract files from the vendor's server immediately, for instance, for auditing purposes, or else.

Important

You cannot execute inactive integrations, activate the configuration to run the file extraction for it.

To execute an integration configuration manually
  1. In the eTMF application header, select the ADMIN tab.

  2. From the left pane of the page that opens, select System Integration > Integration Configuration.

  3. In the Integration Configuration List table that opens, locate the record for which you want to run the file extraction. Then next to it, select More more_icon.png > Manually Execute send_icon.png.

Once selected, the files are extracted from the external server to the set eTMF directory. You can now locate your files under the respective study and folder of FILE MANAGEMENT or Essential Documents.
