Supply for site

As a rule, a supply relationship is a process of the drug supply from a depot to a site.

Tip

In IWRS, along with the depot-to-site, you can enable site-to-site shipments.

Under the Supply For Site subtab, you can define the supply relationship between the depot and all the sites to which it dispatches items.

In the Supply For Site table, you can view the sites to which the depot supplies the product units and container units (separated by a comma) provided to these sites.

From the Supply For Site page, you can perform the actions explained in the following sections:

In this section:

A warehouse that is used to store and distribute items (drugs) to another destination (other depots or sites).

In a clinical trial, a location where the subject treatment and drug dispensation occur. It can be a hospital, a private laboratory, or other institutions.

In eClinical, a unit of a drug that is being tested in a clinical trial is referred to as an item.

An investigational product that is used in a study. In eClinical, it can be viewed as an equivalent to a drug name to distinguish items at all stages of their lifecycle—manufacturing, shipment, dispensation to subjects, or else.

Another name for the product unit in the IWRS system is item unit.

A hierarchical unit used to group and manage investigational products (IMPs) and placebos for shipping and inventory purposes. For example, large boxes and medium boxes.
