Activate/Inactivate sponsor
A sponsor is an individual or organization responsible for initiating clinical research. Sponsors play a pivotal role in the development and execution of the trial, overseeing its design, implementation, and regulatory compliance. The sponsor can be a pharmaceutical company, academic institution, government agency, or entity that funds and coordinates the clinical trial process.
In the ADMIN system, the sponsors are created for the client's company with either Active or Inactive status. Then you can always change this status to reflect the current status of the sponsor within the eClinical platform. This allows for dynamic adjustments based on the accurate representation of the sponsor's engagement at any given point in time.
Important
eClinical studies can be managed and sustained only by active sponsors. If the sponsor becomes inactive, studies associated with that sponsor are not accessible within the system.
