Import translations

The Study Designer application provides the capability to translate CRF texts into multiple languages. This provides a significant advantage in global clinical trials where participants speak different languages. By addressing diverse linguistic needs, CRF translation promotes standardized data collection across international sites.

The text translations can be imported to SD from the XLSX file (for instance, exported from the system and translated offline) or from the sponsor's XML file (for instance, the ODM file exported for the CRF version or individual CRF).

Important

The order of target texts with translations in the file can be different from the one in Study Designer for your study. The system identifies the target texts during the import and enters the matching translations accordingly.

To import translations
  1. In the Study Designer application header, select the TRANSLATION tab.
