Integration management

The integration enables the automation of data transfers between IWRS and various data providers. This automation minimizes manual effort, reduces the risk of human error, and simplifies the overall data management processes within the application.

The integration with specific data providers depends on client needs and the type of data that has to be exchanged or received in IWRS. Currently, IWRS only supports the exchange of shipment data with the SFTP file server which is handled via the following functionality:

  • Integration Alert: access and manage alerts on file dispatch or order (receipt) at the SFTP file server.

  • Integration Setting: access and manage the list of integration vendors and their dispatch and order file settings.

  • Dispatch File: access and manage the list of shipment files dispatched from the SFTP file server.

  • Order File: access and manage the list of shipment files generated by IWRS to be sent to the SFTP file server.

In this section:

A network protocol that provides file access, file transfer, and file management over any reliable data stream.

An integration type based on which the system extracts the dispatch file on the depot shipments from the vendor's server into IWRS for data exchange and analysis purposes.

An integration type based on which the system sends the order file generated for the supply shipments in IWRS to the vendor's server for data exchange purposes.
