Order file

The IWRS application supports the integration with SFTP file servers to enable the automation of data transfer from the file server to IWRS. This automation minimizes manual effort, reduces the risk of human error, and simplifies the overall data management processes within the application.

Tip

Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) is a network protocol that enables safe and encrypted file transfers over the internet. It ensures data confidentiality and integrity during transmission, making it suitable for handling sensitive and confidential information.

The system generates a new TXT file with detailed data on the supply shipment every time one is created for a depot or site. You can see the list of such files for a specific study on the Order File page. If the integration with the SFTP file server is properly configured, the generated TXT file is immediately uploaded to the dedicated folder on the server.

In case the issue occurs with the integration settings and files cannot be automatically uploaded to the SFTP file server, you can download any order file to share with the client or export the entire list of files for the offline analysis of shipment data.
