Activate/Inactivate split rule
Activating or inactivating split rules is a key part of managing how verbatim terms are handled during the medical coding process. This functionality helps you control whether a specific split rule can currently be used or temporarily inactivated, depending on your needs.
By activating the rule, it becomes operational and can be applied when processing verbatim terms, directly affecting how those terms are segmented for coding. Inactivating the rule temporarily removes it from use, without deleting it from the system, allowing for flexibility in testing or adjusting to changing requirements.

Once done, the split rule's status is updated to either Active or Inactive. If activated, the rule can be applied during the medical coding process, ensuring the specified segmentation of verbatim terms is executed. If inactivated, the rule is temporarily disabled but remains in the system for future use, allowing flexibility in managing coding workflows.
