Delete split rule
Deleting split rules permanently removes outdated or unnecessary rules from the system, ensuring that only relevant and effective split rules are maintained. This action helps streamline the medical coding process by keeping the rule set clean and focused, ultimately improving the accuracy and efficiency of how verbatim terms are segmented and coded.
Important
Deleting a split rule is a permanent action and cannot be undone, meaning the rule will be completely removed from the system. In contrast, you can inactivate a rule to temporarily disable it without deletion, allowing the rule to be reactivated at a later time if needed.
