Delete external system account

An external system is referred to as an application, platform, or service that interacts with the eClinical system to provide specialized facilities such as validating data, that improve the workflows of the eClinical trials.

Important

Deleting the configured external system account also removes the connection between the external and eClinical systems.

In this section, you can learn how to delete a previously added external system account when the purposes served with its connection with the eClinical system are no longer required.

To delete an external system account
  1. In the ADMIN application header, select the CONFIGURATION tab.

  2. On the page that appears, from the left pane, select Integration Account > External System Account.

  3. In the External System Account table that appears, next to the needed account, select Delete trash__can__icon__png.png.

  4. In the Delete Item confirmation dialog that appears, select delete_button_white_red.png to delete the account.

Upon confirmation, the selected external system account is deleted and is no longer available. All connections between the external and eClinical systems according to the deleted integration account are also removed.
