Audit contact report

After the scheduled meeting or event is successfully conducted and the contact report submitted, you can start the audit—review and approval procedure—to ensure accountability, improve team coordination, and support clear communication on next steps.

Tip

This functionality is only available if the communication audit is enabled for your study.

To audit a contact report
  1. Access the study management page in one of the following ways:

    • In the CTMS application header, select the DASHBOARD tab and then select the study dashboard of your interest.

    • In the CTMS application header, select the STUDY MANAGEMENT tab. Then from the Study Data List table, select the study name of your interest.

  2. From the left pane, select Communication Management > Communication Tracking.

  3. On the Communication Tracking List page that opens, locate the required event, then next to it, select Summary and Follow-up Tasks date_icon.png.

    Tip

    The meetings and events for review and approval have the Auditing status.

  4. On the page that opens, check the details by switching between the Attendees, Summary of Communication, and Follow-up Tasks tabs. Once ready, select audit_button_white_red.png.

  5. In the dialog that appears, audit the contact report as follows.

Once audited, based on your performed action, the contact report obtains the respective status. Once all the stages of the associated workflow are completed, the audit is successfully passed.
