Export file lifecycle from document warehouse

In eTMF, the Document Warehouse tab is mainly used for the temporary storage of some unorganized files so that, upon request, they can be organized by data managers (DM) and other accountable individuals per DIA RM and uploaded to the Essential Documents storage.

For traceability of all files, you can review and export the comprehensive file lifecycle—a log on all actions with files from their upload to Document Warehouse to the current time. Exporting helps you extract the needed data from the system and use it offline for sharing with stakeholders or other business purposes.

To export the file lifecycle from the document warehouse
  1. In the eTMF application header, select the TMF tab.

  2. In the Study List that opens, from the table, select the name of the study for which you want to access the document warehouse.

    Tip

You can filter the Lifecycle table by specific parameters if you need to export only specific data.

Once downloaded and saved, the file lifecycle in the XLSX format becomes available on your computer.

Important

If you apply any filtering to the Lifecycle table, the exported file only contains the filtered data and the Index sheet features the applied filter conditions for your convenience.
