Sync site dispensing data with EDC

The IWRS application automatically synchronizes the subject dispensing data from all sites with the case report forms (CRFs) available in EDC. However, if there are any new forms published after the drugs have been dispensed or you do not wish to wait for the automatic syncing with EDC, then you can sync the dispensing data with the latest forms manually.

Tip

If only some new variables were added to the CRFs in EDC, upon manual synchronization, the system updates only the new data that is missing from IWRS.

This section explains how you can sync the dispensing data of all subjects from a certain site to EDC in a single operation.

To sync the site dispensing data with EDC

  1. In the IWRS application header, select the SUBJECT tab.

  2. On the Subject List page that opens, from the workspace toolbar, select the site for which you want to sync the dispensing data. Then select Sync to EDC sync_icon.png.

  3. In the confirmation dialog that opens, select confirm_button_white_red.png to proceed with the syncing.

Once confirmed, the site dispensing data is synced with the respective subjects' CRFs on the EDC side.
