Pause/Reactivate lab query
In the EDC application, you can pause and reactivate an open lab query. Pausing an active lab query puts the query raised on hold, whereas reactivating a paused query makes it available for the assigned team.

In the EDC application header, select the STUDY INFO tab.

In the left pane, select Lab > Site Normal Range.

On the Normal Range List page that appears, do one of the following:

To access the lab query opened for a category, in the Normal Range List table, next to the category name, select the query icon

To access the lab query opened for a specific test, in the Normal Range List table, select the query symbol

to the lab name. Then on the Lab Data page that opens, locate the test of your interest and select the query symbol
next to its name.

Depending on the query status, the query symbol differs—My Open Manual Query
, My Paused Manual Query
, Overdue Open Manual
Query
, and so on. -

In the side panel that expands, select either Pause
to temporarily inactivate the lab query or Re-Activate
to make the query active again.

In the Reason dialog that appears, fill in the fields as explained in the following table.

Tip
In the following table, mandatory elements are marked with an asterisk (*).

From the dropdown list, select the reason for pausing an open query. Alternatively, enter the custom reason manually.
Review Date
Select the date when the paused lab query can be reviewed again.
This field is only available for query pausing and missing for query reactivation.SAVE

to save the implemented changes.CANCEL

to cancel the implemented changes and abort the query pausing.
Once completed, depending on the action performed, the open lab query is either paused or reactivated.
