Set shipment buffer

The IWRS application uses the Shipment Buffer tab when the depot supplies the drug to the site. With this functionality, you can set shipment buffer so the drugs do not expire.

Suppose shipping takes 14 days, and the treatment cycle is 30 days, then the shipment buffer should be 30+14=44 days so that the drugs do not expire.

To set the shipment buffer
  1. In the IWRS application header, select the TREATMENT DESIGN tab.

  2. From the left pane, select the Supply Setting subtab.

  3. On the page that opens, from the contents panel, select Expiry Control > Shipment Buffer.
