System integration
The EDC application supports integration with eCOA (Electronic Clinical Outcome Assessment) and eDiary (Electronic Diary) mobile applications that have been designed by the EDETEK company. This integration ensures that all relevant patient-reported data, such as symptoms, treatment adherence, quality of life, and other critical outcomes, are captured accurately and efficiently.
By using eCOA or eDiary mobile applications, the subject data can be conveniently recorded on smartphones or tablets. This ease of use improves patient compliance as it reduces the burden of maintaining paper diaries and questionnaires. The collected information is securely transmitted to EDC, providing researchers and clinicians with up-to-date and reliable data.
All system integrations configured in eClinical EDC establish synchronization with other external EDC platforms to allow for data exchange between them. Currently, only integration with the RAVE EDC system is supported. This means that the data recorded in either eCOA or eDiary mobile applications can be instantly shared with RAVE EDC, using the eClinical EDC system as a configurational mediator.

To enable integration between the eClinical EDC system and RAVE EDC, it is recommended to adhere to the following configuration flow:
-
Create system integration to establish the connection between eClinical EDC and RAVE EDC.
-
Create CRF version integration to determine what CRF version in eClinical EDC needs to be mapped with what CRF version in RAVE EDC.
-
Create a mapping between visits, forms, and items associated with CRF versions in eClinical EDC and RAVE EDC to indicate how the collected data needs to be transmitted to RAVE EDC.
