Modify site return shipment details

A site is the location where the subject treatment and item dispensation occurs. In the course of a clinical trial, the need may arise to return dispensing items from a study site to the depot. In IWRS, you can return any available items to the respective depot so they can be reused elsewhere, or you can return items for destruction if they have been, for example, damaged or else.

After the return shipment has been confirmed, indicating that the items have been sent back to the depot, it may occur that some shipping details are incorrect. When handling site return shipments, you can update their tracking details if necessary.

To modify the site return shipment details
  1. In the IWRS application header, select the SITE tab.

  2. In the Site List table that opens, select the needed site.

  3. In the left pane of the page that opens, select Return.

  4. In the contents panel that appears, select the Shipment tab to open the list of all return shipments.

  5. In the Shipment table, select the needed shipment with the In Transit status.

  6. On the shipment details page that opens, update the service, tracking ID, or dispatch date of the shipment by selecting Edit pencil_icon_blue.png next to the corresponding fields. Upon entering the updated information, select Save check_icon_red.png to apply the changes.

  7. In the dialog that appears, enter the comment for modifying a specific field.

  8. Select save_button_red_white.png.

Once saved, the details of a site return shipment are updated.
