Edit supply plan

In IWRS, the supply plans are created to automate shipment requests and simplify the item (drug) delivery process for sites.

To edit a supply plan

  1. In the IWRS application header, select the TREATMENT DESIGN tab.

  2. From the left pane, select the Supply Setting subtab.

  3. In the Supply Plan table that opens, go to the needed supply plan and under the Action(s) column select Edit edit_pen_01.jpg.

  4. On the page that opens, edit the fields as needed. These fields are identical to the ones explained in the table of the Create supply plan section.

  5. Select save_button_red.png to save the implemented changes.

    Important

    The changes made to the supply plan under the TREATMENT DESIGN tab are also synchronized to the corresponding supply plan under the SITE tab.

Upon saving, your changes are implemented. You can also activate/inactivate a supply plan if needed.

In eClinical, a set of required parameters (for example, item units, minimum and maximum stock values) that is set to automate the process of drug supply to sites to always maintain a sufficient amount of medications for all subjects registered at this site.

In IWRS, the supply plan can be created and managed under the TREATMENT DESIGN tab > Supply Plan subtab.

In eClinical, a unit of a drug that is being tested in a clinical trial is referred to as an item.

In a clinical trial, a location where the subject treatment and drug dispensation occur. It can be a hospital, a private laboratory, or other institutions.
