Delete tag

In EDC, you can delete tags that are no longer needed at any time.

Important

You cannot delete a tag if it is added to an item. Then a similar error message is displayed upon trying to delete the tag.

To delete a tag that is no longer needed

  1. In the IWRS application header, select the TREATMENT DESIGN tab.

  2. In the left pane, select the Tag subtab.

  3. In the Tag List table, locate the needed tag and next to it, select Delete trash_can_icon.png.

  4. In the Delete Item confirmation dialog that appears, select delete_button_white_red.png.

Upon confirmation, the tag is deleted. You can now add a new tag.

In eClinical, a unit of a drug that is being tested in a clinical trial is referred to as an item.
