Delete external recipient account

By maintaining the recipient list, you can create a contact sheet of people who are not necessarily eClinical system users, thus enabling external parties to become recipients of system notifications—various alerts or site and depot shipment notices. If any contact information becomes obsolete, for instance, the person is no longer involved in the study conduct, you can remove their recipient's account to cease any system notifications to the person.

To delete an external recipient account
  1. In the IWRS application header, select the ALERT tab.

  2. On the page that opens, from the left pane, select External Recipient.

  3. On the External Recipient page that opens, locate the recipient's account that you want to delete. Then from the Action(s) column next to the account, select More more_icon.png > Delete trash_can_icon.png.

  4. In the confirmation dialog that appears, select delete_button_white_red.png to proceed with your action.

Once confirmed, the recipient's account is removed from the system, and their association with any sites, depots, and system alerts is broken.
