Analyze CTCAE counts chart data
The Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events (CTCAE) counts chart shows the frequency of adverse events classified according to the CTCAE system. This chart is critical for understanding how often patients experience adverse events at various severity levels, contributing to the assessment of treatment safety.
In EDC, the CTCAE Counts chart is represented with a bar chart. The bar chart is a graphical representation of data using rectangular bars to show the magnitude of different categories or groups. In the CTCAE counts chart, the bars help in visualizing and comparing the frequency of various adverse events based on the CTCAE classification. The x-axis of the bar chart usually represents different categories or types of adverse events that are categorized according to the CTCAE standards, whereas y-axis represents the count or frequency of occurrences for each adverse event.
