Delete shipment alert

A shipment refers to an action of transporting items (drugs) between depots and sites. A shipment alert is a customizable notification mechanism that generates an email to inform relevant parties about the details requested for a shipment when a certain shipment transaction is processed.

The purpose of a shipment alert is to promptly notify the responsible IWRS users about the shipment-related transactions. However, any of the configured shipment alerts may need to be deleted due to updates in the shipment transaction process or other evolving study requirements.

To delete a shipment alert
  1. In the IWRS application header, select the ALERT tab.

  2. In the left pane of the page that appears, select Shipment Alert.

  3. In the Shipment Alert table that appears, next to the needed shipment alert, select More more_icon.png > Delete trash_can_icon.png.

  4. In the Delete Item confirmation dialog that appears, select delete_button_white_red.png.

Once confirmed, the shipment alert is deleted. The system ceases generating emails associated with the deleted shipment alert.
