Edit return request alert
A return request refers to the psychical action of returning dispensing items from site to depot or between depots within a specific study. A return request alert is a customizable notification mechanism that generates an email to inform relevant parties about the most current status of any created request to return items for destruction or available items.
The purpose of a return request alert is to ensure the timely awareness of depot personnel about impending returns so they can handle the item return process. You may need to modify return request alert settings over time to adapt to changing study requirements, thus ensuring that email notifications remain aligned with evolving item return procedures.

In the IWRS application header, select the ALERT tab.

On the page that opens, from the left pane, select the subtab corresponding to the alert category of your interest.

In the Return Request Alert table that appears, next to the needed return request alert, select More
> Edit
.

On the page that opens, update the fields as needed. These fields are identical to the ones explained in the table of the Create return request alert section

Select
to apply new settings of the return request alert.
Once saved, the return request alert is updated. Now the system generates emails based on the new settings of the return request alert.
