Delete license

In PV, every company product should belong to a product family that shares the same key ingredient and data sheets but can have a different concentration for the active ingredient. Also, all products must have the license(s) configured for them.

Sometimes, to keep the license list up-to-date for your product, you might need to delete the licenses that are no longer relevant.

To delete a license

  1. In the PV application header, select the PRODUCT tab.

  2. On the page that opens, in the left pane, expand the product family and the product within which resides the license of your interest.

  3. From the expanded list of licenses, right-click the one you want to delete and from the menu that opens, select Delete trash_can_icon.png.

    Tip

    Alternatively, you can delete a license by opening the Product License form page and from the workspace toolbar, selecting More more_icon.png > Delete trash_can_icon.png.

  4. In the dialog that appears, select delete_button_white_red.png to confirm the deletion.

Once confirmed, the license is deleted.

In the pharmaceutical industry, a medicinal product or drug that is being monitored for its safety and efficacy. A product can be a prescription drug, biologic, vaccine, herbal medicine, or any other health-related product that is used to diagnose, treat, prevent, or alleviate medical conditions in humans.

A document that contains comprehensive and up-to-date safety information about a medicinal product. It is also commonly known as the Summary of Product Characteristics (SmPC) or Prescribing Information in different regions or countries. The PDS/SmPC provides essential details about the product's composition, indications, contraindications, dosage and administration, clinical pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, interactions, adverse reactions, warnings, precautions, and other important safety information.

In pharmacovigilance, a formal authorization or approval granted by the regulatory authorities of a country or region that allows a pharmaceutical company or Marketing Authorization Holder (MAH) to market and sell a medicinal product within that jurisdiction. The product license indicates that the regulatory authorities have reviewed the safety, efficacy, and quality data for the product and have deemed it suitable for use by patients for the specified indications.
