Export MedDRA synonyms

With the Export feature of the PV > Configuration > MedDRA Synonyms module you can download a list of MedDRA synonyms as an Excel file and work with the data offline outside the PV application. This may be necessary, for example, if there is no stable Internet connection but you need to work on MedDRA synonyms, or if you need to share the list of MedDRA synonyms with someone who is not a user of the PV application.

To export MedDRA synonyms

  1. In the PV application header, select the CONFIGURATION tab.

  2. In the left pane, select MedDRA Synonym.

  3. On the MedDRA Synonym page that opens, select the checkboxes next to the synonyms you want to export. If you want to export all the synonyms, simply select the topmost checkbox next to the Status column.

  4. From the workspace toolbar, select Export arrow_open_new_app.png.

The list of MedDRA is downloaded to your computer as an Excel file. You can now work with it offline as per your needs.
