Cohort inclusion criteria

A study cohort is a group of subjects with common characteristics that is first defined and composed, then studied or tracked over a given time period. In a clinical trial, outlining the study cohort begins with clearly defined, study-specific inclusion criteria.

Inclusion criteria are the key characteristics of the target population that researchers will use to answer their research questions. Typical inclusion criteria include demographic, clinical, and geographic characteristics.

In IWRS, you can add inclusion criteria to your cohorts so that the subjects are divided into treatment groups based on your predefined factors and following your study objectives.
