Analyze audit trail report

The Audit Trail report serves as a comprehensive log of records associated with the actions performed on the business categories in CTMS, such as protocol deviation, trip report, ICF Tracking Log, and so on. It captures key information, such as the name of the user who performed the audit, the timestamps of the audit actions, and others. This report provides a detailed chronology of events for transparency and traceability, allowing for thorough reviews of system activity during internal audits or external regulatory inspections.

When working with the Audit Trail report, you can view the report online in CTMS and examine the audits performed on the business categories available for your selected study.

To analyze the audit trail report
  1. In the CTMS application header, select the REPORT tab.

  2. On the page that opens, in the left pane, select Audit Trail.

  3. In the Audit Trail page that opens, from the respective dropdown menus, select the study and the business category for which you want to view the audit trail and select Get_audit_button.png.

  4. In the Audit Trail table that appears, analyze the information provided in each column of the table.

Once analyzed, you can now export the audit trail report to your computer if needed.
