Export placeholders tracking report

A placeholder is a folder or container that is intended for storing artifacts such as study documents or records planned to be collected during a clinical trial. With these documents and records, you can evaluate the study conduct, the integrity and quality of trial data, and compliance.

To keep track of artifacts that have already been added to placeholders, are still pending to be added, and many other details pertaining to placeholder monitoring, the Placeholders Tracking report is available. You can view this report in eTMF or export it as an XLSX file to your computer to view offline.

To export the placeholders tracking report

  1. In the eTMF application header, select the TMF tab.

  2. In the Study List table that appears, select the needed study.

  3. In the left pane of the page that opens, select Study Details > Placeholders Tracking.

  4. In the contents panel that appears, select the tab with the needed placeholder tracking information that you want to export.

    Tip

    From the table toolbar, you can sort the placeholder data for all tabs by study, country, or site.

  5. From the workspace toolbar of the table that appears, select Export icon_export.png.

Once selected, the placeholders tracking report of your choice is saved on your computer so you can work with it offline.
