Export payment request list

A payment request can be interpreted as an inquiry to perform financial compensation for a service. In a clinical trial, payment requests are created to maintain financial operations between the sponsor and vendors and other involved parties, such as sites, labs, and research facilities.

The complete list of payment requests recorded in the EDC system can be extracted as an Excel file or a ZIP archive to your computer for sharing with stakeholders or other business purposes.

To export the payment request list

  1. In the EDC application header, select the STUDY INFO tab.

  2. On the page that opens, in the left pane, select Site Payment > Payment Request List.

  3. On the Payment Request List page that opens, from the workspace toolbar, select Export export_icon.png.

  4. In the dialog that opens, select one of the following options:

    • Export all data as Zip: to export an archived folder that nests a separate Excel file with the complete list of payment requests and individual Excel files for each payment request on the list with their exhaustive details. This is helpful if you need comprehensive information on all your payment operations for audit or upon stakeholders' request.

    • Export all data as Excel: to export an Excel file with the complete list of payment requests for your study. This is helpful if you need a brief listing of all your payment requests with their general details.

  5. In the downloads widget that appears, view your download progress. Select the widget to open the My Downloads dialog.

  6. In the My Downloads dialog that opens, you can find the following tabs:

    • Preparing: lists all the files whose export is in progress, and they are not yet ready for download. Wait until the needed file moves to the Download is Ready tab.

    • Download is Ready: lists the files whose export is complete, and they can be downloaded to your computer by selecting download_icon.png.

Once downloaded and saved, the payment request data in the selected format—XLSX or ZIP—becomes available on your computer.
